Toshiba is the worst computer my office has ever purchased. We usually purchase Sony products, however after browsing computers at BestBuy I found the Toshiba LX835-D3300. This is a all in one touch 23 inch screen with an i3 core processor.
After hooking up the impressive large screen computer it became quickly apparent it was under powered. It reacted slowly and I was receiving warnings that the computer was low on memory.
The computer has what I believe to be a design defect in the stand. When I went to plug in a USB device it tipped over and cracked. I bought the computer July 18, 2013. I called BestBuy and of course they said I am out of luck. I called GeekSquad and was told it would take a month to replace the screen and cost 400 dollars. The computer only cost 750 dollars.
I attempted to contact Toshiba customer service. It is impossible to talk to a live person. I was on hold for 35 mins and finally have up. I tweeted @toshibahelpusa. They responded but referred me to customer service.
The lesson I learned about my experience with Toshiba is that they are not a company that backs up their product. The screen shattered like a cheap window causing tiny shards of glass to cover my desk.
I am going back to Sony products for my law office.
